This site has information about the Center for Comparative and
Foreign Law Studies. The school is maintained in Italy and is a joint
venture of the Italian National Research
Council, the University of Rome 'La Sapienza', and the International
Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT). The Director of
the Centre is Prof. Michael Joachim Bonell and his and the centre’s
main research field is comparative law in general and foreign private
law in particular. This general field then has classes that are further
specialized in commercial law.
